The Junior Society of Ballet Hispanico

Thank you!

On Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 8pm, The Junior Society of Ballet Hispanico hosted its fifth annual Dance Into Fashion featuring the designs of Venezuelan-born designer Angel Sanchez.

Ballet Hispanico dancers showcased the designs of Mr. Sanchez in a presentation choreographed by Artistic Director Eduardo Vilaro.  In addition to being our featured designer at the event, Mr. Sanchez created original costumes for choreographer Gustavo Ramírez Sansano’s dazzling new work El Beso, which received its world premiere at BH’s New York Season at the Joyce Theater.

The evening also featured an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, and a DJ set.

All proceeds benefit Ballet Hispanico’s Education & Outreach program, which provides 1,500 underserved NYC public school children per year with learning experiences that respect their individuality while enhancing their creativity, physical health, and cultural awareness.
