COVID-19 Safety Policies

Updated as of Thursday, August 10, 2023

Ballet Hispánico is deeply committed to the health and safety of our students, staff, faculty, and guests. In compliance with the City of New York guidelines, we have implemented preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in the building. Our updated policies are as follows:

ONLY Ballet Hispánico employees, registered students, and renters are allowed to enter the building with the following exceptions:

  • Guests for organizational events such as School of Dance Family visiting weeks and other special events and performances.
  • Students age 6 and under are permitted to have 1 caregiver enter the building to support with changing in and out of uniform during the check in and out process for class. This access to the building is limited to the first floor designated changing area and bathroom only for the purpose of check-in. Caregivers are required to leave the building once the student is ready for class.

Students, staff, faculty, and guests are no longer required to provide proof of vaccination to enter the building. Specific requirements are in place for the School of Dance which can be found here.

Additional safety measures include upgraded ventilation systems, additional stand-alone HEPA filters, electrostatic cleaning, and enhanced sanitation protocols throughout the building.

Specific health and safety protocols are subject to change. We will continue to consult with medical advisors and monitor the CDC and New York City and State guidelines; and these policies may be updated as conditions evolve. Ballet Hispánico will strive to communicate substantial changes to health and safety protocols.

Ballet Hispánico may, in its sole discretion, refuse to allow admission to anyone who does not comply with these policies.
