Jaisson Restrepo received a BA in Dance from Universidad de Antioquia in Colombia. Mr. Restrepo is trained in Colombian folklore, ballet, contemporary, jazz, theater, and hip hop. He has been working as a teaching artist for over 10 years. Back in Colombia he performed as a professional dancer with Teatro Musical de Colombia, Street Dance, and participated in the inaugural program for the IX South American Games in 2010. In 2014, Jaisson moved to NYC to continue his career as a performer. Since then, he has performed with Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company, Vanessa Long Dance Company, General Mischief Dance Theater, and AnthonyKen LLC. Currently, he is part of Steps on Broadway work/study program. Since college, Jaisson found out that teaching would be one of his passions in life. He hopes to continue to share his knowledge, energy, charisma, and culture with youth wherever he goes.
