Performances for Young People
Ballet Hispanico's Performances for Young People (PYP) are engaging 50-minute productions that lead students on a guided exploration of Latin American dance forms and music.
Ballet Hispánico, celebrating over 45 years of bringing individuals and communities together to celebrate and explore Latino cultures, returns to the Apollo stage to delight students with a guided journey through Latin American dance forms and music. Our interactive fun-filled exploration is performed by Ballet Hispánico’s second company BHdos, and pre-professional students from the Ballet Hispánico School of Dance. This program exposes school audiences to world-class choreographers and cultures of Spain, Cuba, the Americas, and more. Our Performances for Young People program is sure to have everyone dancing all the way home!
