Jalyn Gill

Jalyn Gill, a Native New Yorker, is a teacher, choreographer, and performer. She began her training at Edge School of the Arts and continued her training at Dance Theatre of Harlem and Mark Morris Dance Group. Gill also participated in Summer Intensives at Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts and The Ailey School. Jalyn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Montclair State University in 2020, holding a B.F.A in Dance. Gill has taught and choreographed at her high school alma mater, Brooklyn High School of the Arts, where she taught Ballet, Modern and Contemporary. She is currently performing with the five two Dance Company as well as teaching with the Paul Taylor School in their outreach program. As an artist, Jalyn is passionate about creating a safe space for dancers as well as projecting her inner voice through her work.
