Kiefer Rondina (he/him) is a New York based dancer, dance teacher and arts administrator. As a first-generation immigrant from Cebu, Philippines, he graduated summa cum laude and obtained his BA in Dance Education PK-12 from Hunter College where he trained in ballet and modern dance. He holds a New York State Initial Certification in Dance Grades PK-12. As a Spanish Dance aficionado, Mr. Rondina has had the pleasure of studying with notable flamenco artists in New York City and Albuquerque including Soledad Barrio, Sol La Argentinita, Isaac Tovar and La Conja and has performed at Centro Español in Queens. He is a recipient of the Hunter Mellon Arts Fellowship and has taught and worked for arts organizations including Ballet Hispánico, Jose Limón Dance Foundation and MotionScoop Dance Academy. At present, Mr. Rondina continues to hone on his flamenco studies as well as inspiring the young generation about the art of flamenco.
