Laura Perich was born in Venezuela where she began training with Marisela Riera at the Academia Sol Centro de Arte. She then moved to Houston, Texas where she continued her training with Catriona Steel at Allegro West Academy of Dance. While in Houston she completed The Royal Academy of Dance Ballet exams and received Distinctions all throughout her training. After graduating High School, she joined Texas Ballet Theater’s Studio Training Company under the direction of Kathy Warakomsky-Li. Laura obtained her dance teaching certification from successfully completing her Royal Academy of Dance Ballet exams. In Houston, she had the opportunity to teach children Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Contemporary. She also held private lessons and rehearsals to prepare children for upcoming competitions. Laura is currently dancing with Ballet Hispánico’s Pa’Lante Scholars: Professional Studies Program under the direction of Rodney Hamilton.

Ballet Hispánico is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD).
