MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS & TUITION ASSISTANCE

Expanding Access to Dance Education

For over fifty years, the Ballet Hispánico School has been committed to providing exceptional training opportunities for dancers of all backgrounds. To continue this tradition, we proudly offer two types of financial support: merit scholarships and need-based tuition assistance, ensuring that passionate and dedicated students have access to the highest level of dance education.

Tuition Assistance

Tuition assistance is available for students enrolled in the Los Pasitos Early Childhood Program, Encuentros Open Program, and La Academia Pre-Professional Program. Eligibility is determined based on a family’s adjusted gross income from the previous year’s federal taxes and the number of dependents. Families are also encouraged to share any additional financial circumstances that may impact their ability to afford tuition. This information helps us assess the level of support a student may receive.

Tuition assistance is reviewed annually, with consideration given to student conduct, preparedness, attendance, and overall performance within the School of Dance. Our goal is to ensure that students who demonstrate dedication and commitment have the resources they need to thrive in their training.

Merit Scholarships: Recognizing Excellence In Dance

Each year, Ballet Hispánico awards a limited number of full and partial merit scholarships to students who demonstrate exceptional artistic potential, strong work ethic, and deep commitment to their dance studies. These scholarships provide talented young dancers with the opportunity to advance their training in a world-class environment.

All dancers auditioning for any of our programs are automatically considered for merit scholarships. Returning students in non-audition-based programs may also be considered based on teacher recommendation, while new students in non-audition-based programs must participate in an audition to be eligible. Merit scholarships are available for both summer and year-round programs, and recipients will be notified via email.
