Scholarships & Financial Aid

The Ballet Hispánico School of Dance offers over $150,000 in financial aid scholarships to talented and need-based students.

We offer two kinds of scholarship support:

Support based on Financial Need: Need based scholarships are available for students and determined by a family’s income and number of dependents.

Support based on Artistic Merit: A limited number of merit-based scholarships are available to students with outstanding artistic ability. Consideration for this scholarship is recommendation and audition only. The Nuestro Futuro Scholarship Program provides more opportunities for students of exceptional talent to receive funding for their training.

Students on scholarship at Ballet Hispánico are expected to demonstrate the highest level of commitment and consistency in their study. The families for whom support is provided are also expected to volunteer for events and be active members of the Ballet Hispánico community.

All scholarship applications are managed via an annual review process. The application process and review can take up to two weeks. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

All scholarship students and their families are expected to make a year-long commitment to study. If you forfeit your scholarship or withdraw, you will be financially responsible for the scholarship funds used to date as well as any tuition owed.

Scholarship students with excessive absences, behavior issues, and inconsistent engagement will require a family meeting with School Leadership and will potentially be withdrawn of financial support.
