My name is Fernanda Alvarado, I am originally from Santiago, Chile but I have been living in Miami, FL for the past four years. I am a full student at New World School of the Arts, currently on my senior year. I have been dancing since I was four and have not stop since. I have trained in different styles but mostly in Classical Ballet, Modern, Contemporary and Argentine Tango. I have participated in the Armour Dance Theater Summer Intensive 2018 and Dance Theater of Harlem Summer Intensive 2019. I have choreographed for my school in Dancemakers 2019 and Spanish Heritage 2020. I have been part of the work “Junun” by Darshan Singh Bhuller and the Bollywood piece by Geeta Dias. I am very close to my roots and my heritage and always try to make it part of the art I share on and off stage.
