Payton Poole grew up dancing in Tucson, Arizona under direction of Tammy Booth and was introduced to multiple styles of dance. During her time in Arizona she often traveled to learn from esteemed choreographers such as Peter Chu, Stacey Tookey, and Alexandra Damiani. Payton then attended Point Park University for a dance major with a concentration in modern. Here she learned from not only talented professors and inspiring colleagues and developed her own personal view on her artistry. Upon moving to New York, she studied with Rodney Hamilton in Ballet Hispánico’s Professional Studies Program. Payton values the discovery of creativity in her movement and strives to create a world that others can explore as well.
