The Emerald Gala will showcase the return of CARMEN.maquia, restaged with new sextions by acclaimed choreographer Gustavo Ramírez Sansano. Marking the 150th anniversary of the Bizet score, CARMEN.maquia is a suspenseful, passionate, and humorous interpretation of this beloved classic.

This year, we honor the work of Business Leader, Producer, Activist, and Philanthropist Henry B. Muñoz III with the Nuestra Inspiración Award.
Mr. Muñoz is described as the center of convergence across culture and industry. Having launched national movements on behalf of underserved and rising populations of the United States, he supports the Latino community through awareness, educational funding. and electoral empowerment. Known for his work as D.C. changemaker, Mr. Muñoz is also a Tony and Emmy award winning producer.
